The eSIM (eUICC) gives you more flexibility and independence than traditional SIM cards (UICC) because you can change the operator profile over the air without having to physically replace the SIM card. Things Mobile provides eSIM profiles that can be implemented through its platform or during the production process. The Things Mobile profile can be used as a bootstrap or operator profile or both and provides global coverage at the lowest rates available on the market.

Durability
The SIM card (standard version) is designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to 85°C. It is ideal for telemetry applications and in devices operating under normal environmental conditions.
Long life
Boasting a life cycle of up to 25 years at 25°C, the SIM card (standard version) is considered the perfect solution for most IoT use cases.
Security
The SIM card (embedded version) is hermetically sealed and can be soldered directly to the device's PCB. This drastically reduces the risk of malfunction due to shock, impact, corrosion and other harmful environmental factors.
eUICC
With the eUICC version, you can have one or more operator profiles and, thanks to Things Mobile's provisioning platform, switch to another operator.
